Even before The Last Jedi come out , porgs were everywhere . Porg dolly , porg sneakers , porg backpacks … the world wasporg obsessed , and that’sonly continuedsince the release of the flick . However , for obvious reasons , the one matter no one could really have was an actual porg . So Lucasfilm ’s ILMxLab aimed to change that .
Now , a few monthsafter its first announcement , the company behindTrials on Tatooine , Star Wars : secret of the Empire , andRalph Breaks VRhave finally released Project Porg exclusively for Magic Leap One . The mixed realism experience permit fan to take charge of their own favourite porg and , eventually , even bring it out into the world . It ’s kind of like theTamogatchigot a topnotch duper upgrade , and is now a porg . Check out this newfangled video detail the experience .

Yes , Project Porg permit you to make porg babies . Andas endearing as baby porgs are , in my slightly twisted mind , this lift many questions . How does that process go down in the game ? Do you have to navigate porg relationships ? How do the porgs give birth ? Is there an in - universe explanation for porg procreation and how does that read to design Porg ? Plus , how far can you take this in ? Could I make like a porg Brady Bunch in this experience ? It ’s all very fascinating .
