True king of the Damned Anne Rice has announced she ’s take the right hand to produce her Vampire Chronicles novel serial for the belittled screen , and she want to make it a Game of Thrones - style epic … with more Lestat .
“ A television serial of the highest quality is now my aspiration for Lestat , Louis , Armand , Marius , and the entire kin group , ” Rice indite onFacebook . “ In this the new Golden Age of television system , such a series is the means to have the entire narrative of the vampires unfold . ”
Universal and Imagine Entertainment had take the motion-picture show rights to the book serial , but Rice suppose she ’s been trying to take the stories to TV . She will be working with her Word Christopher Rice on modernise a pilot hand , in all likelihood beginning with The Vampire Lestat , the second book of the series . It may take awhile for the serial publication to get off the earth , but come on , who would n’t leap at the chance to eventually shoot Lestat in Atlantis ?
