Ariana Grandeappears to be thinking about her late ex-boyfriend on what would have been his 27th birthday.

In the early hours of Saturday,Mac Miller’s birthday, Grande shared a cryptic post on Twitter, which many of her fans believe addresses the late rapper.

“Miss u,” the “7 Rings” singer, 25, wrote on Saturday morning in a since-deleted Tweet, without sharing any additional information.

Hours later, Grande shared a series of photographs of the pair together on her Instagram Story. In one image, the pair smiled together at what appeared to be a recording studio, while in another, they embraced outside.

Grande and Miller dated for two years before officiallycalling it quitsin May. Months later, Miller wasfound deadin September after anaccidental overdose.

Grande, who has sharednumerous tributesto Miller since his death, last publicly remembered him in December, when she posted and quickly deleted a photo of the late rapperplaying the pianoas she opened up about being ready toleave 2018 behind.

While acceptingBillboard’s Woman of the Year awardin December, Grande struggled to hold back tears as she touched upon her very tumultuous year, which included Miller’s death and her whirlwind romance with ex-fiancéPete Davidson.

“I want to say that I find it interesting that this has been one of the best years of my career and the worst of my life,” she said. “I’m not saying that for sympathy, I’m just saying that because I think a lot of people would look at someone in my position right now…and think, ‘She’s really got her s— together,’ Ya know? Like, ‘She’s really on it.’ Like, ‘She’s got it all.’ “

Grande continued: “I do, but as far as my personal life goes, I really have no idea what the f— I’m doing so yeah, it’s been a very conflicting one.”

Later that month, she paid tribute to him again with a heartfelt note on Instagram: “i adored you from the day i met youwhen i was nineteen and i always will. i can’t believe you aren’t here anymore. i really can’t wrap my head around it. we talked about this. so many times.”

“i’m so mad, i’m so sad i don’t know what to do. you were my dearest friend. for so long. above anything else. i’m so sorry i couldn’t fix or take your pain away. i really wanted to. the kindest, sweetest soul with demons he never deserved,” she added. “i hope you’re okay now. Rest.”

Months later, Grande went on to open up about hergrieving process.

Opening up about her right to mourn her ex, Grande added that “everything i feel is valid and safe.”

“There is no right or wrong during this period,” she continued.
