Blue Origin has successfully tested its crew leak system for its New Shepard skyrocket in a spectacular test .
The remote-controlled rocket , on itsfifth flight , rise off from the troupe ’s West Texas launching website around 11.34am EDT ( 4.34pm BST ) today . The test was designed to see how a succeeding crew would be carry to safety in an emergency , and it pass with flying colouring .
About 45 seconds after the launch , the crew abridgment ignited its escape motor , launching itself aside from the rocket . It fall under drogue chutes , before big parachute brought it safely to the reason , with a pusher activating at the final moment for a soft landing .
