Dell rolled out its workstation - course notebook computer packing a Core 2 Duo CPU , where the latest Intel Meron mobile chip is nestled inside a ritzy form factor Dell call the Precision Mobile Workstation M65 . The guys at Digital Media Net were impressed , extremely recommending the laptop computer , and digging its 15.2 - column inch screen and workstation - class NVidia Quadro FX350 M graphics . The loaded $ 3288 laptop has the 2.33GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7600 central processing unit on add-in , the fastest one released , and it blow through their benchmarks which are particularly tailored for those glamourous subject matter creation types .
All was not sweetness and light , though , where the strict examination revealed that even though the Core 2 duet processor are faster than their Core Duo forerunner , they did n’t make the full 20 % speedup claimed by Intel . At the same clip , barrage fire lifetime was n’t as rich as Intel had claim , either . Even so , these are still the fastest peregrine processor they ’ve ever test . specially interesting are the comparison between a Core Duo MacBook Pro running Windows XP and this Core 2 Duo notebook . Check out the full review after the jump .
