An industry filming report reveal some of the fix , both in Los Angeles and New York , where the reboot is shooting :
Sony began its 90 - solar day film shoot for “ Spider - Man ” film two week ago , mainly on the fortune but also on location : include at the Henry Fonda Theater in Hollywood and Immanuel Presbyterian Church in mid - Wilshire . The film alone will utilize nearly 1,000 crowd members , admit expression workers building sets for the production , which takes up seven stages on the Sony Pictures lot . While the product will admit two calendar week in New York ( where the narrative is determine ) , the volume of filming will occur in Los Angeles on the Sony spate and various fix around township , from South Pasadena to San Pedro to Woodland Hills .
