Artist and photographer Lisa DiLillo calls this series “ Before the Echo , ” and it ’s wanton to see why the images might make you recall of fireworks . There are sparks . There ’s green goddess . There ’s just not any attack . And that ’s actually what make them most intriguing . Broken tree trunk and streaks of light give the thaumaturgy of ferocity , yet this beautiful wood from the future is somehow peaceful .
