In Heathers , Veronica Sawyer is a hater just like you . The democratic kids are jerks , but there ’s nothing she can do about it . Until J.D. shows up in her life . He ’s creepy , he ’s charming , and he ’s get a in earnest refutable program about how to teach jock and the cheerleaders a deadly lesson .
J.D. is unhinged . And the premiss of this motion-picture show is ludicrous . Or is it ? This is a drollery , and the characters really do n’t seem too much like the great unwashed you knew in gamy school — at least not people I know in high-pitched school . But the in the last 20 years we ’ve seen too many incidents in which confused , anomic small fry snap . Do n’t get me amiss , this is a lighthearted film that ’s more about the vogue than the contentedness . It ’s worth watching for Winona Ryder and Christian Slater alone . But between the laughable dialogue , and broad abstraction about high school day lifetime there ’s a bunch of verity . Most kids have a really shitty time . If you ca n’t see yourself in Veronica , well , it probably means that back in the mean solar day , you were one of them [ Netflix ]
