Cousins will be returning to the field this fall with the Falcons after he suffered a season-ending tear to his Achilles tendon in October. He immediately underwent a successful surgery, and is hoping for a new start in Atlanta.

In November, the quarterback told PEOPLE he’s never doubted his career in football, even when times get tough.
