NASA has re - released a ratherawesome snapof Saturn ’s Sun Myung Moon Rhea return in front of the synodic month Titan , enchant by the now - dead ( sob ) Cassini space vehicle .

The image was take up way back on November 19 , 2009 , from a distance of about 1.148 million kilometers ( 713,300 miles ) from Rhea .

In the image , Rhea is the lunar month in the foreground , and Titan the hazy moonshine in the setting . Despite both revolve Saturn , you could clearly see how dissimilar these two worlds are from this one ginger nut .

Rhea measures about 1,527 kilometers ( 949 miles ) across , and is Saturn ’s secondly largest moon after Titan . It has an ancient airfoil , owing to a lack of geological bodily process . As such it has retained a lot of its craters from impacts over the years , and is one of Saturn ’s most heavily cratered moon .

We also think Rhea has avery flimsy atmosphere , called an exosphere , and also avery deliquium ring system . All in all , it ’s a rather gripping place .
