Fans were seeing purple on Wednesday, as the stars turned out for the premiere ofThe Color Purplein Los Angeles.
The movie — a film adaptation of the Alice Walker novel and the Broadway musical it inspired — comes from director Blitz Bazawule, and provides what Warner Bros. Pictures has described as a “bold new take on the beloved classic” about “the extraordinary sisterhood of three women who share one unbreakable bond.”
