Meghan Marklemight be known for her love of fashion and all things chic, but when she became a member of the British royal family, there was one fashion accessory that she needed help with – nude tights.
Step forwardHeist, a revolutionary British hosiery brand that offer tights for every skin shade, in a seamless design and innovative luxury yarn. “We’re thrilled thatMeghan Markleis a fan of our tights, and one of the thousands of women who support our brand,” a Heist spokesperson tells PEOPLE.
It was after an appearance wearing too pale nude tightsat Buckingham Palace three days after her weddingthat Heist got in touch with Meghan to offer a selection of their nude tights. With a seamless toe-to-toe tube (i.e. gusset-free) and an adaptable waistband, which comes in low or high waisted, Heist tights claim to make digging, sagging or rolling a thing of the past.

While it’s not mandatory for members of the royal family to wear tights, it is seen as a respectful alternative to bare legs, especially when in the presence of senior royals, in particularQueen Elizabeth. The art is in making them look natural. “We worked with 85,000 women to develop seven shades of nude so that everyone, including Meghan, could find their perfect match.” The brand also promote positive body image with an inclusive approach to model sizes and ethnic background.
With four different styles in their tight collection, Meghan is a fan ofThe Nude, an 18-denier style with a barely-there feel, which retails for $25. And if reinventing the wheel when it comes to unflattering, uncomfortable tights isn’t enough, Heist has also partnered withSmart Works, a charity which helps unemployed women get back into the workplace, a charity of which Meghan is patron.
